The Fractal Design Define R5 Blackout Edition is the next evolution in the widely popular Define Series. Packed with intelligently designed enthusiast-oriented features delivering a silent case with powerful and expansive air and liquid cooling support, presented in a stunning Scandinavian inspired construction.
The Define R5 Blackout Edition case reaches the highest level of silent computing through strategically placed dense sound-absorbing material, ModuVent™ fan vent covers and finely tuned all black Dynamic Series fans.
The Define R5 Blackout Edition was designed with configurability in mind, accommodating up to 8 hard drives and all modern graphics card. Should you wish to expand your system with water cooling components or more fans the layout can easily be configured to meet your demand.

Имам тази кутия, като цяло е супер с изключение, че кабелите за предните два USB 3.0 порта са прекалено твърди. Харесва ми това, че касетките се махат за да махне човек тези който не му трябват. Аз лично съм оставил само едната за твърди дискове с място за 3 и съм я оставил долу. Организацията на кабелите е добра. Има достатъчно място да скрия множеството ненужни кабели защото аз разполагам само с един твърд диск, а оптично устройство от години вече не ползвам (само флашка) заради което остават купища ненужни кабели. Всъщност и дупката за кабела захранващ процесора е проблем. Твърде е малък и трябва да се махне гуменото оплътнение за да се прекара и после пак да се сложи, а дали защото аз го слагах при монтирано дъно или не си е мъка. Филтрите също са хубави и лесно се чистят без нужда да се разглобява нищо. Също така и има прилично количество болтчета и гумички за да не се чуди човек от къде да си намира. Под гумички имам предвид тези който изолират твърдият диск от касетката на която се закрепва с цел да се избегне вибрирането на кутията. Има допълнителни 4 дълги болта в кутийката вътре ако човек иска да сложи втори преден вентилатор защото той не се монтира с обичайните къси болтове. Отзад има две касетки за монтиране на SSD 2.5" които не се виждат на снимките и са бели. Има и копче за управление на до 3 вентилатора като един в три режима като те се захранват от някой от захранващите катели за SATA дисковете. Предната врата се отваря от дясно на ляво, но може да се преместят пантите и да е от ляво на дясно. Отгоре дори при слагане на 140мм вентилатори остава празно и май може и някой скосен от двете страни 200мм вентилатор да се сложи вместо два 140мм, но не съм пробвал. А, да. На кесетките за 3.5" твърди дискове може да се монтират и твърди дискове и SSD който са 2.5" без нужда от преходници което е голям плюс, а и има големи дупки от страни за да може въздуха лесно да циркулира и дисковете и SSD-та да остават хладини. Все пак е хубаво да се внимава с прозореца от страни понеже е от плексиглас и лесно се драска за разлика ако беше стъкло. Кутията тежи към 10кг празна.
