Optimized HD visual experience with IPTV services

The ZyXEL WAP5805 5-GHz Wireless N600 HD Media Streaming Box is compliant with the 802.11n standard and brings you high wireless speeds of up to 600 Mbps* for multimedia streaming. For IPTV services, the device connects directly to a 5 GHz wired network through the service provider gateway and then connects to the IP set-top-box client that receives IPTV streams between two WAP5805 boxes. Taking advantage of the less-congested 5 GHz band eliminates interference from common 2.4 GHz radio band devices such as cordless phones and microwaves. 

The ZyXEL WAP5805 also applies the latest video-grade QoS that intelligently optimizes the video streaming quality.

Set up your secured wireless network easily 

The ZyXEL WAP5805 uses WPS 2.0 to protect your wireless network. It takes only a push on the button to set up a secured wireless network between the AP and its clients. 

Remote management through TR-069** 

ZyXEL’s WAP5805 takes advantage of the TR-069 standard that allows service providers to remotely manage and configure the devices without user intervention. Moreover, it helps reducing deployment complexity, operating costs and maintenance expenses.
